Guidelines to help you choose your honeycomb calcite:
  • Every piece is unique. All photos are examples of the sizes and styles available.

  • There are 3 general patterns in the stone: translucent, honeycomb, and opaque. Some pieces contain more than one pattern.

  • There are 4 angles on the tops of cylinders: flat, slightly angled, sculpted, and cathedral (steeply angled). Photos below.

We recommend putting your cylinder on something fire resistant to protect your furniture from hot tea lights, such as a mirror, plate, stand, or a slab of honeycomb calcite.

We offer a variety of sizes and thicknesses of calcite slabs, starting at $5.00.

NEW! Turn your cylinder into a lamp! Choose an electric light base with one nightlight bulb (starting at $28) or three nightlight bulbs (starting at $55). The base is a slab of honeycomb calcite with clear rubber feet and a 6' electric cord with rotary style on/off switch. Photo on right.

GREAT IDEA #1: Tired of your chandelier? Use honeycomb calcite cylinders for a whole new look! We can even cut multiple cylinders from the same rock so they match.

GREAT IDEA #2: The 4" thin cylinders are dual-purpose: put one in the refrigerator for 20 minutes, then use it to keep your wine bottle cool. And after the wine is gone, light a candle and enjoy the ambience! (Note: Chardonnay bottles are too wide to fit this cylinder, but other bottles will fit.)

GREAT IDEA #3: Honeycomb calcite looks gorgeous on the patio or by the pool. And since it's a rock, it doesn't mind being hot, cold, wet or dry. Plus, it glows in the sunlight.
